Systems and modules, new and refurbished
Two different purchases sit on this page, and they turn on different questions. On a used system the question is history: what it actually comes with, the front end, the software and licence, the source condition, and what the PM record shows. On a new one there is no history to check, so it moves to specification, warranty and who supports the instrument once it is on your bench. Either way, if a unit is not right for your application, I will say so before you spend the money.
Refurbished systems listed here are held in stock in the Greater Toronto Area, and the photographs on their pages are the actual units. If what you need is not listed, a similar system can be sourced to your specification. Tell me the modules you need and the analyte you run, and I will come back with specific units, the configuration, the history where it applies, and the price. The warranty is written into every quote, and installation, a service contract and parts are available for anything bought here. On a GC autosampler I confirm in writing that it controls your GC and works with your software, because that is the part that decides whether it is any use to you. Where a listing shows a diagram rather than a photograph, you get photographs of the actual unit when it is quoted.

Front-end LC or GC, autosampler, detectors, and whether the software licence transfers.
Source and flow path
Condition of the source, and how the system was shut down and stored.
Service history
Last PM, what was replaced, and whether parts are still supported.
Fit for your method
Sensitivity and configuration against the analyte you actually need to run.
Control and software
On a new module, which GC it drives and whether your chromatography software will see it. Confirmed in writing before a quote.
